The nomadic structure of the Qashqai tribe has an ancient history that has continued for nomadic life. The system had its own administrative political organization, which was shaped by nomadic living conditions and nomadic. At the head of this tribal system, there was a monk named Ilkhani, from the beginning of the formation of the Qashqai tribe, from the time of the Safavids, in the hands of a family called Shahilo. The main question of the present article is that what was the social political structure in Qashqai and how has the legitimizing mechanisms been implemented? The hypothesis of the article is that the social structure of the Qashqai tribe has been hierarchically in response to the needs of the tribe, and the structure of power in it is not necessarily based on the violence of the rulers of the tribe, but based on symbols, rituals and customs was in tribe. Therefore, the distinction between current research and this paper based on the theoretical framework of violence or symbolic domination, we study of the mechanisms and components of the legitimacy of the power of the leaders and attempt to study the subject from the perspective of historical sociology.

University is as a socio-cultural place in which generational relations flow intergenerational and within a same generation and it has effects on specialized services. The purpose of this research is to study the generations of Iranian academics and compare them with generations in the world to study the social characteristics of each generation in their ecosystems. The research method is documentary and analytical reasoning. In the theoretical discussions, there are five generations of Iranians corresponding to the five generations of the contemporary world; First generation: veterans/ Iranian constitutional generation; Second generation: Boomers/ the generation of Iranian nationalism; Third generation: generation X/ generation of modernization in Iran; Fourth generation: generation Y or Millennium/ Generation of Islamic Revolution; Fifth generation: Z or Net generation/ Generation of Post-Revolution. The first generation is familiar with the Mertonian norms and tradition of staying in an elite university. The second generation is accompanied by the growth of political norms and dominant scientific norms. The third generation is associated with the growth of politics and ideology along with learning science and then its conquest. In the fourth generation, growth has started, and the turn is from education to research and science two style sciences. In the fifth generation, knowledge has been a commodity and business, the rotation is from research to entrepreneurship along with a decline in the tradition of residence. The result is that the serious differences in the characteristics of the fifth generation in the last century have caused these different generations not be able to experience creative and effective academic lives.

Students have interactions and communications beyond the official university systems which are informal and form many of their memories during the time of education. What matters is the students' understanding and perception of mental concepts of student life which should be discovered to narrow the gap between higher education and university officials as much as possible so that the hidden layers of student life can be perceived and policies can be formed according to them. In the present study, a summary of the perceived, meaning and experienced student's life will be presented during these interactions. For this purpose, deep phenomenological interviews were made with 52 students from different departments and fields of study in the University of Tehran. Over the informal interactions and spending most of their times with their friends, the students have changed in many cases of their student life such as changing in human communication patterns, changing religious styles, changing the leisure time, an improvement in personal abilities, gender attitudes, changing in educational patterns, changing of attitude and worldview, achieving positive personal feelings, support and a sense of group affiliation, compensation, changing in social participation motivations, change in the socializing processes and the normative system.

The main purpose of this research is first to provide a sort of forces and social groups’ categorization in the Balochistan community and, in the following, discourses that can be deduced from the activities of these groups. The present research is fundamentally, within the framework of a kind of historical-genealogical methodology. Findings show that especially in the last century and among social groups in political and social discourses of Balochistan, the most influential ones included: 1) Commanders, khans and the traditional aristocracy; 2) Ethnic nationalist and national elites; 3) clerics, Molavies and religious activists; 4) intellectuals and modernist civil activists. It seems that each of these groups act in a special thinking context and space; this issue is discussed in the present article, following the presentation of four discourses: 1) Self-centered and ethnocentric discourses; 2) nationalist discourses; 3) socio-political religious-oriented discourses; 4) Reformative socio-political discourses.

Suicide is one of the important problems the prevalence of which has brought about a crisis in Ilam province. Numerous studies have been carried out, but have not adequately addressed the cultural causes (meaning). Hence, the main issue in the present research is what is the meaning of suicide among the people of Ilam? To achieve the response, the strong program approach in the cultural sociology of Alexander and Smith was used. The method is of a qualitative kind; it is based on the "strong program". In this research, due to the subject and the conditions, purposive sampling was used. The sample includes all individuals who have had suicide attempts (unsuccessful) in the province during the period from September to December 2014, or relatives of those who have committed suicide. Data collection techniques, included observation and interviews with either people who had committed suicide some of their relatives. The data was supplemented through interviews with hospital personnel, university professors, researchers and informant individuals, referring to articles and publications; news reports and press releases; sites and weblogs; as well as proverbs, poems, etc. The results show that in Ilam society, suicide is a symbol of the objection against the status quo and is codified as evil. There are two main narratives about suicide: fatalism and salvation. Through analyzing the symbols, codes and narratives of suicide, it is understood that suicide is thought to be a way the person is recognized.

The student dormitory is a semi-public area in which the same age residents involve in intercultural interactions. These interactions can have positive or negative impact in the individual life and also make dependent or independent personality in the future social life decision. Our main question in this article is the study of the belongin sense to the dormitory in the girl’s students. The belonging sense is important because it is the result of desirable condition and influence on trying to improve the living condition. The important factor like security, privacy, positive interaction with the other (roomates and dorm official) and the ruls form the belonging sense. We investigate these factors with studying the 60 life story of girl’s students that live in the dormitory of the universiti’s of Tehran, Tarbiat Modares, Alzahra and Shahid Beheshti. In Final, our results show the belonging sense is low because of lake of privacy, the rules limitation and disagreement with roomates and the dorm offitial. The field of study, the educational level, the culture, and the type of socialization of individuals, age, individual characteristics and ethnicity affect on the sense of belonging to the dormitory.

The system of differentiation and grading of individuals in every society is pervasive and inevitable, and its criteria vary from society to society. Hence, this article seeks to show that when and why do the citizens of Tehran make boundaries in their communications with others? When and how do they cross these borders? What strategies do they use to interact with each other and cross cultural boundaries and what are the consequences of such communication strategies? The findings of this research are based on a qualitative method with Grounded Theory strategy. The sample size included 45 individuals using the theoretical sampling method and in terms of accrediting/validating. Various tools such as interviewing, observing, participating, etc. were used to collect data, but the focus was on the deep interviewing. The findings were coded in a systematic version method (GTM) of the survey theory and the (causative, background, and intervening) conditions, strategies and consequences related to the cultural and mobility boundaries have been extracted and analyzed in the city of Tehran. The obtained nuclear issue includes “Management of cultural boundaries and cultural mobility/traffic in identity-based layers in the form of communication diplomacy”.

Considering the importance of cultural capital in the field of education ,the present research would study the teachers’ cultural capital based on the theoretical framework of PIERRE BOURDIEU .The sample includes 480 teachers elected according to a simple and well-proportioned classified sampling .The tool for collecting data is a questionnaire that its stability determined was 0 /71 using CRONBACH’s Coefficient Alpha .To the measurement of the questionnaire validity ,confirming factor analyzing techniques and the content validity. For testing the hypothesizes of the research appropriate statistic tests in the level of the standard multivariate and two- variate analysis including Regression analysis , factor analysis and correlations with application of SPSS and AMOS software’s are used. In recent decades, Maktab Qur'an(MQ),founded by Ahmad Muftizadeh (Iranian Sunni Kurdish scholar and political activist) in 1977,as the oldest Iranian Sunni Islamist group, has experienced different phases in its evolution, bothstructurally and discursively. In this study,using grounded theory,we have examined the social mechanisms affecting Iranian Sunni Kurds' tendency to Islamist movements (MQ as the case study, in the fourth phase of its structural evolution since1995). This study argues a major reason for Sunni Kurds’ orientation to Maktabis a tendency among people to live in a "community", and what makes this community ideal is a collective life that strengthenspersonal relationships and collective solidarity. Also, the dominant social relationships in society have moved toward a kind of "societal" relationshipcharacterized by impersonal relationships, alienation and increasing individualism. In this study it is argued that while the influence of societal world is increasing, some of its alienated inhabitants try to leave it and dwell in a new community. Therefore, currently, due to lack of other supportive structures in today's Iranian society, MQ, with its community-like characteristics, functions as a kind of haven for Iranian Sunni Kurds who feel alienated from the individualistic society.This is a new kind of "Hijra" in our modern era, which is not place-based but is rather characterized by transformations in Maktabi Muslims’ social ties and beliefs, which virtually provide them with a new Ummah–MaktabQur’an–to live in.

Technology has important role in communications and shapes people’s relations but also imposes its principles on these relationships. The term “Mobilization” refers to special form of life style characterized by properties such as speed and quantity. This investigation aimed at studying user experiences with regard to mobilization in human relationships. To this purpose, we conducted a phenomenological approach and arranged in-depth interviews with 12 users of mobile phones focusing on different virtual spaces. The use of mobile and virtual networks was researched with the view of "satisfaction and happiness."The obtained data were analyzed with Colaizzi’s 7 steps method and the results revealed 2 themes: “experience from technology” and “relational experiences” with more detailed sub-themes. Results showed that users pass through the stages of “experience from technology” i.e., from “familiarity”, to “attraction”, then “drown to nakedness, “to” pointlessness,” and ultimately “control”. Also participants’ communication experiences showed different types of confounded relationships. This process called mobilization, in which the characteristics, application context, and specific nature of the mobile phone use enter the human relationships and change them. Indeed, mobilization is not a technologic process but is a cultural one. The problem is not the invention but is the feel and urge to use this technology.

Office space is the space where students first experience the university. In this paper, the attitude of students toward office space in the public sphere of university is discussed. This article is the result of the research conducted for the “Institute for Social and Cultural Studies” by the author. The main issues in this paper are: university students' attitudes towards quality office space at the universities and mental basis of common issues among students at the universities. Data were collected through individual and group interviews. More than eighty interviews with activists and students of University of Tehran, Shahid Beheshti University, Allameh Tabataba’i University, Sharif University of Technology and Kharazmi University were done. The main indicators of office space in this study include: students’ satisfaction of office space, students’ welfare affairs and students’ feedback about this space. Problems and obstacles relating to the office space and their solutions were also studied in this paper.

The conversion of a large number of people to the emerging spiritual sect (hereafter mentioned as “the M sect” in the current study) indicates a socio-cultural trend and the current study attempts to identify its causes and effective factors. Qualitative methodology in the form of Grounded Theory has been applied. Data were collected through distributing a semi-structured questionnaire in an in-depth interview from fourteen participants. Findings constitute a two-step paradigm model where the dimensions and major elements include: A) preliminary conditions: stresses of religious life in the modern age, lack of acceptability in the traditional religious culture, emotional detachment; B) causal conditions: spiritual needs, epistemic crisis, physical or mental illnesses; C1) The central phenomenon and context: the feeling of distress with regard to intensity, continuity, and diversity; D1) Strategy: reference to traditional religious texts, medical treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, exercise; E1) intervening conditions: lack of acceptability in the religious culture; F1) Result: inefficient or partially efficient of strategy and continuity of the feeling of distress; C2) the feeling of distress with desperation; D2) choosing the spiritual method proposed by M; E2) value system, religious socialization and lack of congruence with the religious culture, the congruence of the sect with the general culture, having fresh viewpoints and the acceptability of explanations provided by the sect, objective reports on the effectiveness of the practices in the sect, open membership, and the quality and quantity of the network of relations with members in the sect; F2) Conversion that has instrumental and ultimate interpretations.

Nowadays, we can see a new form of relationships between males and females, called non-marital cohabitation (concubinage) that is known as”white marriage” in Journalistic literature and Speaking Some youth . It seems that such a new lifestyle emerges from most of the large metropolitan areas. In this article we have tried to obtain more understanding about the effective reasons and backgrounds in the couple’s decision, who attempted to form such a relationship (non-marital cohabitation), the process that is involved in, and finally the consequences that they have actually experienced or confronted. Using the free and depth-interview techniques as well as grounded theory, data were gathered and analyzed from 16 cohabited couples. After analyzing the research findings, categories that are consequences of this lifestyle are as follow: “reduction in family’s function and importance”, “migration”, “Tehran city without supervision” as a contextual conditions, “Negative attitudes to customary marriage”, “feminist beliefs” and “lack of faith and adherence to religious values” as a Caused conditions, “Involved in romance”, “become familiar with cohabitation” as an interferer conditions, “cohabitation as an equal relationship”, “cohabitation as a relationship with an open end”, “satisfactory experience of this lifestyle”, “internal obstacles relations”, “external limitation of the relationship” as an interactions, “endure the disadvantage of relation’s termination” and "marriage or promise to marry in order to overcome the external obstacles". Finally, the concept of " cohabitation fleeting relationship of modern conflict with traditional values in the context of the Tehran metropolis" was chosen as a core category".

Social health depends on different social and cultural factors. One of the most important suppliers of individual’s health is family structures and relations. In recent years due to functional changes in polygamous structure, there are threats against social health of men in Sarbaz city. In this research, to compare the rate of social health of men in polygamous and monogamous families in Sarbaz city we use a standard questionnaire of Shapiro & Keyes (2007). The population of this study consisted of 300 males who are residents of this city. They selected by using cluster sampling method. Gathered data were analyzed using SPSS software version 22. Findings from independent T-Test revealed that the average of social Coherence, Integration, Contribution and Actualization between men in polygamous families were significantly lower than monogamous. Based on these findings, we can conclude however a lot of traditional social customs were useful, functional and compatible and provide social acceptance, but today have become dysfunctional and threated social health of family members and community system face with crisis.

The hijab is one of our Cultural religious norms and on the other hand, it is one of the most important aspects of soft war on behalf of enemies of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. Therefore, the bad Dressed is undoubtedly one of the consequences of cultural invasion. And cross-sectional approaches couldn’t be useful for understanding the problem deeply and doesn’t provide enough knowledge for effective and efficient cultural planning. The study aims to investigate the causes of the emergence of bad dressed and ways to deal with it. At this descriptive-survey study field as well as library studies were used to develop a theoretical frame work. Data collected through the researcher-made questionnaire that was validated and justified. The data was analyzed through using structural equation modeling. Conceptual framework was based on systematic thinking and comprehensive approach to the bad dressed phenomena. Thus the hijab is considered as a social system and the main elements in four sections; inputs, process, outcomes, and feedback were investigated.

Culture is proposed as an important criterion in politics management which has been considered in various systems. althoughlots of cultural elements are forming gradually during the time and by the effect of different causes, one cannot ignore the role of government policies in organizing them. Therefore one of the important duties of government in Islamic society is to determine the principles and general policies in the scope of managing the culture of society. The cultural principles and policies of Islamic Republic of Iran, that are formed based on Islamic thoughts, of course should be designed and drawn upon these thoughts. Accordingly, the main question of the current research is that: what are the ruling principles in the cultural policy-making of Iran’s society? According to the operational approach of the researchers, Imam Khomeini’s theory has been chosen as the base of the research. The movement towards the goals of "Vision plan 1404" needs the perception of the requirements to prepare plans for achieving the favorite objectives of development. With the advent of the information age, the rules of development policy-making strongly have changed in the world and also unique opportunities areprovided by variables of communications for countries that have been in early stages of development. Based on this, considering the communications in macro-level and in the political, social, economic and cultural development plans is important and necessary. This requires a review and pathology of previous plans and evaluation of their strengths and weaknesses for preparing of more comprehensive future plans. Themain question of this study is: what is the approach of development plans to communications section after Islamic revolution? Which aspects of communications are considered, and what aspects are ignored? This study analyzes five development plans after the revolution, by using of qualitative content analysis. Results show that in all five-year plans the focus was on hardware and quantitative dimensions of communication development and media, but qualitative and content aspects, such as the right to universal access to information, freedom to obtain and disseminate information within the constitution, freedom of speech and press, a move towards the information society and knowledge-based, also other dimensions of communications such as human, traditional and social communication has been less considered. In the fourth development plan that is "knowledge" – centered, new fields of communications has been studied comprehensively in comparison to other plans. According to these approaches and new scientific and experimental perspectives, this paper suggests further engagement in communications necessity for development policy-making.

The current tedious and exhausting conditions of schools make it necessary to adopt policies toward increasing happiness and esprit. Providing of a clear and common understanding of happiness is a prerequisite for the success of such policies. Given the current ambiguity and lack of such an understanding, this article concentrates on extracting “meaning/meanings of happiness in the semantic structure of the educational System”. For this purpose, we have used Laclau and Mouffe’s theoretical basis and frame the meaning structure of the education system as a “discourse” in which meaning of each signifier is only defined in relation with other signifiers and particularly master-signifiers. We gathered our information by analyzing existing organizational documents and also by utilizing semi-structured interviews. The results indicate that in the semantic system of the education system, there are one dominant and two temporary meanings for happiness. In the dominant meaning, happiness can both work toward perfection or becomes a barrier in front of it. Regarding temporary meanings, one of them is about motion and physical activities and the other is about physical characteristics of school. None of these meanings is completely consolidated. As a consequence, the ruling meaning structure could not stabilize any clear and unified meaning for happiness. These ambiguities at semantic level lead to confusion and conflicting performances at the policy-making level.

Gender roles defined as the patterns of behavior which are approved by society and culture. In other words gender role is the way men and women doing to recognition as feminine and masculine and culture, and society accepted and encourage those behaviors as appropriate behavior for men and women. Present study aimed to study gender role attitude using Islamic gender role attitude scale. A sample of 400 male and female students at public universities including Allameh-Tabataba'i University, Tehran University and the University of Kurdistan was drawn. Respondents were selected using random sampling method and data were collected with questionnaire. Results revealed that there were no traditional gender role attitude among students and all the respondents have professional and liberal attitude toward gender roles. There were significant gender differences between male and female in gender role attitude so that female students have more liberal attitude. In terms of ethnicity there were gender differences in Fars and Lur attitude, so that male have professional and female have liberal attitude. Among Kurdish respondents, male and female have liberal attitude while among Turkish, both male and female have traditional-professional attitude.

In today's society, body management in the sense of continual manipulation in the visual aesthetics has been expanded dramatically. Body is a very important issue theoretically and practically and many studies have addressed it. Moreover, there are much debates on body as a social and identity-making element in sociology. Body management is common among the youth, and different behaviors such as body building, food diets and make up have been represented for it. In this study that aimed to the meta-analysis of the relationship between body management and cultural capitals, 10 studies from 38 research in the body management which has the necessary qualifications, were selected from databases and by using comprehensive meta-analysis (CMA), data were analyzed. In this study, according to results of the heterogeneity, random effects model was appropriate and the measure of the combined effect relationship was 32 percent that is a medium effect size based on the Cohen's criteria. In other words, the cultural capital plays a medium role in the variance explanation of body management.

Following the expansion of internet penetration, social interactions between the sexes have taken new dimensions. The objective of the present study is to investigate network connections of students and their attitudes towards these relationships using Zygmunt Bauman's theory of liquid love. The main research question is that in the online relations and friendships of students, which characteristics and consequences are identifiable? This research was conducted using qualitative method of Focus Group Discussions(FGDs) among female students of Guilan University.The results revealed that two characteristics of network connections, namely, simplicity and anonymity, and also the only positive outcome of these connections, freedom, are the main causes of student’s tendency towards these connections. However, they are aware of negative consequences of network connections, mostly have positive attitudes regarding internet relations and friendships.
